Democrat Accomplishments vs. Democrat Budget Plans
I still can't figure out how to get YouTube videos onto my blog, so I'll provide links to the two sites (Write idea Online and Northwest Republican) where I saw this video. (If this works, it's due to the generous help of Write Idea Online.... if not, it just means I'm not as bright as I ever thought I was .... 'nuff said ...)
It shows Rep. Jeb Hensarling, Texas' 5th District giving a rebuttal to a fellow Texan's (Dem, naturally) "history lesson" he thinks the American people ought to learn. Hensarling's history lesson is much more current and one which should interest all taxpayers.
- As a visual aid, he presents a chart showing that the price of gas when the Dems took office approximately 15 months ago compared to the current price -- it has effectively *doubled*.
- Inflation has risen.
- The cost of groceries has risen.
- Jobs have been lost.
- And Taxes are fixin' to go up *more* ...
The video is about 5 minutes long, but it's well worth the watch.

The one that really hits a lot of families is milk prices. A few years ago we would pay $1.20 a gallon. Now milk is $3.30 a gallon. That hits where it hurts.

I totally agree .. no one in my family is totally weaned yet (including me), and we go through 3-5 gallons per week. Sheesh! When the price of milk is comparable to the price of gas, that's a bit scary!
