OK, what that really means is that half of the people that should've been appointed to key positions have not yet been appointed.
The excuse,as expressed by Hilary Clinton, "The clearance and vetting process is a nightmare and it takes far longer than any of us would want to see. It's frustrating beyond words."
Well, maybe part of the problem is that so many of the prior appointees had major legal and ethical issues (can you say "tax cheats galore"?) and those doing the investigating and clearances have actually begun going through their background checks with the fine-tooth comb they should've used earlier???
Or maybe Obama's done the end run himself and that's why he's been appointing all the czars right and left, ones of whom the taxpayers had no say in the selection or placement, and whom are accountable to no one but Obama. Read for yourself the New York Times article (but remember to read with a jaded eye, 'cause this paper's hardly conservative friendly).
The Russians decided they could get along just fine without Czars in 1918. (Good plan, bad execution.)
The deal with these "czars" (an unfortunate term, but in this country, it goes back to Andy Jackson) is that it's simply a way of expanding Presidential power: they're "accountable to no one but Obama."
From the Times: "Seven months into his presidency, fewer than half of his top appointees are in place advancing his agenda.... Mr. Obama does not have his own people enacting programs central to his mission. "
Praise the Lord!!!
"“The clearance and vetting process is a nightmare,”....."
That seems to be a major problem, when your candidates are all Democrats.

I have to agree, Mike. The more that aren't appointed, the better for our citizenry. He and his cronies need to keep their fingers out of our collective pie and their noses out of our business. Did you read the post about the possible mandatory vaccinations and possible grab/quarantine of our kids, should they become "exposed" ... and all without our say???
