I agree with you. I've seen some very misguided comments referring to interrogation techniques as punishment. But that's not the point. It's not punishment, it's a means of obtaining valuable information from insanely evil people that will potentially save thousands of lives. (Save a bunk for me at the right wing detention facility will ya?)

But of course, m'dear ... I'll do everything I can.

Among those Powers That Be who oppose torture include the military command.

Of course you probably think they are all whimps.

If you are willing to undergo just 4 30 second sessions of waterboarding I will conceed you have standing to be taken seriously.

Think About It ...

  • **GANDALF THE WHITE said...
"Other evils there are that may come... Yet it is not our part to master all the tides of the world, but to do what is in us for the succor of those years wherein we are set, uprooting the evil in the fields that we know, so that those who live after may have clean earth to till. What weather they shall have is not ours to rule"
  • **JOHN STUART MILL SAID**...
"A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight; nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by exertions of better men than himself."
