New Jersey governor Chris Christie is a breath of fresh air. A governor who is direct, actually answers questions, is not afraid to take a stand and defend it, and wants to do the will of the people ... in their case it's to get their state back on track.
If we get Chris Dudley elected in the fall, this is the kind of governor I want to see. If we get the second coming of John "Dr. No" Kitzhaber, we have no chance for improvement .. it will all be decreases in everything but taxes.
Gov Christie calls S-L columnist thin-skinned for inquiring about his 'confrontational tone' |
Personally, I thought it was pretty impressive that it took him two minutes from the time a big tax-the-rich bill hit his desk to veto.
He doesn't kid around.

It would be really nice to see someone like this in Oregon, but I would not hold my breath.
What I see running now just make me sick, and I am still betting that Kitzhaber will be the next governor.
I have a feeling that it has already been re-arranged.
hope that I am wrong, but again, who is there really what we want that is running? I can't think of anyone.
